Congratulations on the wonderful news!
Welcome to 2as1 Antenatal Classes
& Postnatal Home-visits
2 As 1 offer expectant parents practical and caring education in regards to pregnancy ,labour, birth & parenting, in top class venues in North Dublin & Meath, through:
All our classes are conducted by the owner and founder of 2 As 1, Susan Mac Nicholas, an Irish registered, qualified & experienced nurse & midwife, who also is a mother of three young children.
Susan was appointed the midwifery representative to the SMA Every Step Panel of Experts – an advisory panel which ran from August to December 2009, designed to provide mentorship across a broad range of issues which affected expecting couples and new parents on a daily basis.
Susan also regularly appears on The Morning Show on TV3, most recently as the midwifery representative for Mother & Baby Week in October and subsequently the Pregnancy Panel. See http://www.youtube.com/2as1antenatal to see a selection of helpful advice clips from the shows.

Our classes cover a very comprehensive agenda focusing on the areas of the later stages of pregnancy, labour, breathing techniques & birth, but importantly cover to an equal extent, the early stages of parenting.
This is a full time service and Susan is available to answer any questions or queries or re-enforce any information following the course to attendees. The 2As1 service does not end on the course day!
Most expectant couples attend an Ante-Natal Class to learn about the labour and birth. Our aim is whilst covering this area in great detail, is that they leave the class not only thinking about the big day itself, but as importantly, thinking of being parents and making informed decisions about their new-born baby.
Our classes are aimed at expectant mothers ,their partners, individuals and/or someone who wish to bring a friend/family member with them.
Please note that 2As1 classes are not lectures but interactive sessions aided by the small-class size policy which we implement (12-couples max.) where everyone, including the dads-2-be feel at ease/relaxed but anxious to learn more about the subject in hand, in practical terms.
The ideal time to attend an Antenatal Class is between 28 weeks and 36 weeks gestation. So, please do not be disappointed and book in well in advance.
